Oleh Marchenko

Oleh Marchenko is a partner and the head of the tax practice. He has more than 9 years of experience in international and domestic tax law. Prior to joining Magister & Partners, Oleh Marchenko was a senior tax associate at Deloitte & Touch in Ukraine. As a tax partner at Magister & Partners he concentrates mainly on tax structuring of cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and investments transactions. He also advises clients on tax aspects of initial public offerings and other equity and debt financing. He has advised on transfer pricing arrangements and disputes with the Ukrainian tax authorities.
Oleh Marchenko has been regularly invited as a speaker to many conferences in Ukraine and is an author of numerous articles on taxation.  Among the conferences he spoke at, in particular, are: ‘Raising Capital for Ukrainian Companies (Kyiv, April 2005); First International Conference ‘Mergers and Acquisitions in Ukraine’ (Kyiv, April 2004); international conferences ‘Leasing: The Opportunities, Problems and Prospects’ (Kyiv, December 2003), Second International Conference ‘Real Estate in Ukraine 2003: The Mortgage Lending Market’ (Kyiv, December 2003) etc.
